Certificates will now be issued only after athletes clear the dope test, a move aimed at curbing substance abuse and promoting clean sports. HOA president Jasvinder Meenu Beniwal said the decision was taken to protect athletes’ health and maintain Haryana’s strong sporting legacy. The association has also announced plans to improve sports infrastructure, ban gun culture, and modernise 100 rural stadiums to support athletes at the grassroots level.
