Olympic Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra Marries Tennis Player Himani Mor in Private Ceremony

In a move that surprised both fans and relatives, Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra shared wedding photos on his social media accounts late Sunday night. The ceremony was extremely private with only immediate family members from both sides in attendance. The wedding took place in traditional Hindu style with seven pheras (sacred rounds around the fire). Chopra shared the news with a heartfelt message: "Beginning a new chapter in life with family."

The Bride and Her Family Background

Thd bride Himani Mor comes from a sports background herself. Himani is a tennis player and she represents the same sporting spirit that has made Chopra a household name in India. He father Chand Ram recently retired from State Bank of India about two monts ago. Chand ram has established a sports stadium in their village where he trains athletes in kabaddi.

The wedding was kept low key stated by Neeraj's uncle, Surendra Chopra. the news of the wedding came to a surprise even to the extended realtives and villagers. Family members immediately gathered at his Khandra village home in Panipat to celebrate the occasion.

After the 2024 Olympics there were rumors thaqt linked Neeraj Chopra's name with Olympic Shooter Manu Bhaker and there were dismissed by both families. Chopra family stated that Neeraj 's focus was on bringing more medals for the country and he will get married only when he is ready.
