Boxer Saweety Boora Claims Husband Deepak Hooda Has Interest in Men

In an emotional press conference at her residence in Hisar, former world champion boxer Saweety Boora has made serious allegations against her husband, former Indian kabaddi team captain Deepak Hooda, including a shocking claim about his sexual orientation.

Boora addressed a viral video showing a confrontation between her and Hooda at a women's police station. She clarified that contrary to how the footage portrays her, she was provoked by Hooda during the incident. 

"Deepak provoked me. I didn't assault him," said Boora, visibly distressed during the press conference. "He has threatened to kill me. I've started having panic attacks. If I die, will he be hanged for it?" 

Video tampering allegations 

Boora claimed the police deliberately presented an edited version of the incident to make her appear violent. "The beginning and end portions of the video are missing, where Deepak was hurling abuses at me. The part where I had a panic attack was also removed," she alleged.

The boxer directly accused the Hisar Superintendent of Police of being biased. "The public release of this selectively edited video proves the Hisar SP is working with Deepak," Boora stated. 

False cases against family members

Another serious accusation made by Boora concerns false cases allegedly filed by Hooda against her father and uncle.

"Deepak has named my father and uncle in an FIR even though the viral video clearly shows they never approached him. My uncle was actually trying to stop me," she explained. "Despite this, Deepak got a false medical report and named my uncle and father in the FIR, claiming injuries I never caused." 

Desperate plea for divorce

Perhaps the most emotional moment came when Boora, with folded hands, questioned why her husband refuses to grant her a divorce if he finds her so objectionable.

"If I'm such a bad person, why won't my husband divorce me? That's all I'm asking for. I haven't demanded any property or money from him," she said tearfully. "A person only wants to stay with someone who is good. If I'm not good, why does Deepak Hooda want to stay with me?" 

Boora also revealed that she had previously attempted suicide due to the alleged abuse she suffered in the marriage. She claimed that certain high-ranking officials in Rohtak and Hisar are pressuring her in this case.

"I don't want any money from Deepak Hooda. I just want a divorce. I need justice as soon as possible," she concluded.
