Vinesh Phogat, India's top female wrestler, has announced her retirement from the sport after a heartbreaking disqualification from the Paris Olympics. Phogat was set to compete in the gold medal match but was found 100 grams overweight, leading to her disqualification. Despite an appeal by Phogat and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) dismissed her plea, leaving her Olympic dreams shattered.

In a statement on social media, Phogat expressed her disappointment and hinted at continuing to fight for what's right. "Maybe under different circumstances, I could see myself playing till 2032... I will continue to fight always for what I believe in and for the right thing," she said. Phogat's future in wrestling remains uncertain, but her determination to fight for justice is unwavering.

Phogat's disqualification has sparked outrage in India, with many calling for reforms in the weight measurement process. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has promised to support Phogat in her future endeavors. As Phogat returns to India, fans and supporters await her next move, hoping she will continue to inspire and fight for what's right.
