In a significant development, the Nayab Singh Saini-led government in Haryana executed its first cabinet expansion, welcoming eight new ministers into its ranks. The expansion ceremony, held at the Raj Bhavan in the state capital, witnessed Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administering the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers.

The event marked a milestone for the Saini administration, which had previously sworn in the Chief Minister and five ministers last week. BJP MLA Kamal Gupta from Hisar was notably the first to take the oath as a cabinet minister, reciting his oath in Sanskrit. Gupta, who served as a minister in the preceding ML Khattar cabinet, brings experience and expertise to his new role.

Following Gupta's oath-taking, seven more MLAs were sworn in as ministers of state (independent charge). These included Seema Trikha from Badkhal, Mahipal Dhanda from Panipat Rural, Aseem Goel from Ambala City, Abhe Singh Yadav from Nangal Chaudhary, Subhash Sudha from Thanesar, Bishamber Singh Balmiki from Bawani Khera, and Sanjay Singh from Sohna.

Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar graced the occasion with his presence, highlighting the significance of the cabinet expansion in the political landscape of Haryana.

The induction of these ministers reflects the government's commitment to strengthening governance and addressing the needs of the people across various constituencies. With a diverse set of representatives assuming ministerial roles, the Saini-led administration aims to foster inclusive development and ensure effective governance throughout the state.

The expanded cabinet is poised to collaborate closely under CM Saini's leadership to tackle pressing issues, drive reforms, and propel Haryana towards progress and prosperity.
