Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has initiated a magisterial investigation into the boiler blast at a spare parts manufacturing unit in Rewari district. The incident led to 40 workers sustaining burn injuries, prompting urgent medical attention.

Following the explosion at the manufacturing facility located in the Dharuhera industrial area of Rewari, CM Saini swiftly ordered a thorough probe under a Sub Divisional Magistrate. The move aims to ascertain the causes and prevent future incidents of such nature.

Expressing concern for the well-being of the injured workers, Saini directed the Rewari Deputy Commissioner to ensure they receive the best possible medical treatment. The injured were promptly transported to various hospitals for treatment, with priority given to addressing their burn injuries.

The Civil Hospital in Rewari received a significant number of the injured, while others were transferred to medical facilities in nearby Gurugram, Dharuhera, and Rewari. Additionally, one critically injured worker was referred to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak for specialised care.

The incident has sparked concerns over industrial safety standards and the need for stringent protocols to prevent such accidents in the future. Saini's proactive response underscores the government's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of workers in industrial settings.

As investigations unfold, authorities are expected to focus on identifying any lapses in safety measures at the manufacturing facility. The findings of the magisterial probe will likely inform corrective actions to prevent similar mishaps in the future.

In the wake of the tragic incident, attention is also drawn to the importance of emergency response mechanisms and the swift deployment of medical aid to mitigate the impact of such accidents on workers' lives. Overall, the government's prompt action and commitment to investigating the blast reflect a concerted effort to prioritise worker safety and uphold industrial standards in the state.
