A viral video from Ambala has caused a lot of concern regarding drug abuse and misinformation on social media, following a similar incident in Chandigarh last week.

The video features a man sitting motionless on a motorcycle by the side of the road. The man in the video looks completely unaware of his surroundings. The man in the video looks frozen, and there is a lot of concern among the general public.

Social Media Spreads Panic Regarding ‘Zombie Drugs’

The video has gone viral on social media, and users have started speculating that the man in the video might have consumed some of the notorious ‘Zombie Drugs,’ specifically Fentanyl.

The hashtags #ZombieDrugs, #AmbalaViralVideo, and #YouthCrisis have started trending on social media, reflecting the rising concerns about drug abuse among young adults.

However, there is no official information available on whether the man in the video consumed any of these drugs.

Pattern of Viral Fear

The Ambala clip follows closely on the heels of a similar viral video from Chandigarh, which had triggered identical concerns. The back-to-back incidents have amplified public fear, even as authorities remain cautious.

Experts often warn that such videos, while alarming, can lead to speculation overtaking facts, especially when medical details are not verified.

Authorities Yet to Confirm Cause

So far, no official medical update has been released regarding the man’s condition. It is yet to be confirmed by the police and the local authorities if the incident is related to drug usage, health, or something else.

Bigger Issue: Drugs or Misinformation?

This incident is raising two different issues:

  • Actual issue related to drug usage, especially among the youth
  • Propagation of false news on social media sites, which is causing panic among people
  • Without actual evidence, any direct link to the usage of fentanyl can spread false news.
