Preparations and Security Measures in Haryana Ahead of Ram Lala's Pran Pratishtha

As Ayodhya gears up for the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Lala's Pran Pratishtha on January 22, Haryana is also making special preparations for the event. The state's Education Department has issued orders for conducting Ramayana sessions in schools, emphasizing the cultural significance of the day. Additionally, directives have been given for a thorough cleanliness campaign covering school campuses, classrooms, roofs, trees, and surroundings, with district education officials instructed to capture the entire program on video.

In an effort to reach a wider audience, live telecasts of the Pran Pratishtha ceremonies will take place in around 15,000 temples across the state. To ensure a smooth and incident-free celebration, police alerts have been issued in seven sensitive districts, including Nuh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, Jhajjar, Yamuna Nagar, and Jind. The police are particularly vigilant in sensitive areas, such as temples and mosques, to maintain law and order.

To avoid any untoward incidents, the state has joined the ranks of those declaring a dry day, aligning with the decision made by states advocating alcohol prohibition. Special precautions are being taken in seven districts, with heightened police alerts. Authorities have advised people traveling to Uttar Pradesh by train to exercise caution. Efforts are also underway to identify potential troublemakers with prior cases of violence in the districts.

The police's alertness is primarily driven by the violent incidents that occurred in Nuh last year, resulting in the death of six individuals, including two home guard personnel and four civilians. This event led to numerous arrests and a month-long suspension of internet services in more than five districts. In light of these past incidents, both the police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are on high alert to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration of Shri Ram Lala's Pran Pratishtha in Haryana.
