Haryana's Class 12 English paper was leaked in Nuh and Palwal districts on Thursday, forcing authorities to cancel exams at affected centers and take legal action against examination officials and students involved.

Haryana's 12th board exams began today with immediate reports of the English paper being leaked in Nuh district within 30 minutes of the exam's start. Police chased away crowds gathered to help students cheat, while in Sonipat, people were seen climbing walls to pass cheat sheets.

Two serious incidents of post-election violence have been reported from Haryana. In Punhana, a 13-year-old boy was shot during factional fighting, while in Panipat, a man was stabbed over voting disputes. Both incidents stem from electoral rivalries.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has issued directives specifying that all vehicles transporting minor minerals to stone crushers/screening plants in Faridabad, Gurugram, and Nuh districts must be equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) by February 28. The order, dated December 11, emphasises tracking the route through GPS, checkpoints, and radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags.
