The Haryana Board of School Education has announced that the Class 12 English examination will be conducted again in some districts following confirmed reports of paper leaks on Thursday. The decision affects students in parts of Nuh and Palwal districts where examination irregularities were discovered.

Immediate Cancellation in Palwal

According to official reports, the English exam at a center in Palwal has been completely canceled after board officials confirmed the paper was leaked. The examination board has taken swift action and filed cases against the center superintendent, invigilator, and a student involved in the leak.

The flying squad team reached the Government Senior Secondary School in Palwal after receiving information about the paper leak. Upon investigation, they filed a police complaint against center superintendent Devendra Singh, student Sachin, and invigilator Gopal Dutt Sharma, who is a mathematics teacher at Government Senior Secondary School Rasulpur.

Multiple Violations in Nuh District

In Nuh district, the board has initiated legal proceedings against a center superintendent, two invigilators, and three students. According to information received, the board's team was alerted about the Class 12 English paper being leaked from a government school in Tapkan area of Nuh district.

The team reached the spot and conducted an investigation, using QR codes and other security features to identify the students who had circulated the paper. Three students named Monish, Nafeesh, and Mushtakeen were caught sharing the leaked paper. Center superintendent Sanjay Kumar and invigilators Shaukat Ali and Rakmuddin were also found guilty in this case.

Additional Measures in Punhana

The examination board also took action in Punhana, where two invigilators were relieved of their duties following irregularities, though details of the specific violations were not disclosed.

Based on the investigation team's report, all examinations conducted at the compromised centers on the day of the leak have been canceled. The board is expected to announce new examination dates for affected students soon.

This incident highlights the ongoing challenges in maintaining examination integrity, especially with the increasing use of technology to circulate leaked materials. Education officials have emphasized that strict measures will continue to be implemented to prevent such incidents in future examinations.
