Class 9 Student Dies of Heart Attack in Charkhi Dadri Minutes After Finishing her School Lunch

A tragic incident has happened at Dhani Phogat Government Girls School in Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana as a 15-year-0old girl Tamanna suddenly died of heart attack just minutes after finishing her school lunch on Tuesday.  

The tragedy unfolded during the lunch break around 12:30 PM when Tamanna, a Class 9 student, suddenly collapsed in her classroom. Her father Roshan confirmed that she had left home for school as usual that morning, appearing healthy and normal. 

According to Station House Officer SI Satbir, Tamanna had finished eating lunch with her classmates and was sitting on a bench when she suddenly fell backward and lost consciousness. Teachers and classmates tried to revive her by massaging her arms and legs, but she never recovered consciousness despite their prompt attention.

Students were so alarmed by the incident that they informed the school administration right away. After being taken to Dadri Civil Hospital, Tamanna was pronounced dead by the medical staff. The precise cause of death was then ascertained through a post-mortem examination.

Police have filed an accidental death case based on the statements of her father as it was a natural death by cardiac arrest. . This particular incident again raises concern about the deteriorating health conditions of our youth and teenagers and the rate of increase in such early age cardiac arrest in places like schools and gyms seems unreal. 

The need for greater awareness and preventive healthcare measures in educational institutions is highlighted by medical experts who point out that sudden cardiac arrest in children is uncommon but not impossible.
