Grievance Redressal: Haryana's Home Minister Anil Vij Takes Swift Action on Public Complaints

Complainants from Ambala City revealed a fraudulent act of INR 1.6 crore under the pretext of sending them abroad. Another complainant from Narayangarh described how an agent from Jammu and Kashmir duped him of INR 60 lakhs in the name of arranging travel abroad on June 6. Additionally, a complainant from Thanesar reported a loss of INR 2.16 lakhs, and another from Barara shared an incident involving an agent and INR 15 lakhs for a desire to travel abroad. Responding promptly, Minister Anil Vij has instructed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct a thorough inquiry into these matters.

A couple from Nuh brought to the minister's attention the alleged kidnapping of their 16-year-old daughter on December 25, 2022. Dissatisfied with the lack of response, they sought immediate action. Home Minister Vij promptly called the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and instructed them to expedite the investigation.

Furthermore, a resident from Yamunanagar sought the removal of his son from a safe house and proper medical care. The minister intervened, contacting the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Yamunanagar to ensure a swift resolution.

An aggrieved couple from Jhajjar's Jarosi Khedi village narrated a tragic incident where their son was fatally attacked with a knife on December 12. Not only did the victim lose his life, but the assailants also targeted his daughter-in-law. Alleging police inaction, the couple's distress led Minister Anil Vij to change the SHO and order a fresh inquiry by a DSP from a different subdivision.

Lastly, a woman from Charkhi Dadri revealed her husband, an auto driver, faced legal trouble due to possessing a tool in his vehicle. Despite obtaining protection from the High Court, her son, who is unwell, remains outside the safe house. Minister Vij contacted the SP of Charkhi Dadri, instructing them to resolve the matter promptly. In each case, Minister Anil Vij has demonstrated a proactive approach to address public grievances swiftly and ensure appropriate action.
