Haryana's Job Market Set to Expand
In a promising announcement during his Independence Day speech, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini revealed plans to fill 36,000 new government vacancies in the near future. This news comes as a ray of hope for job seekers in the state, particularly the youth. The Chief Minister proudly stated that the BJP government has already provided 1.44 lakh jobs to young people based on merit, demonstrating their commitment to boosting employment in the region.
Saini didn't stop at government jobs. He also highlighted that his administration has secured employment for 1.20 lakh workers through outsourcing services and the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam. These efforts show a multi-pronged approach to tackling unemployment in the state.
Women's Empowerment Takes Center Stage
The Chief Minister's speech placed significant emphasis on women's empowerment. Saini outlined several initiatives aimed at improving the lives of women in Haryana:
1. Education: 32 new women's colleges have been established, and girls now receive free education up to the postgraduate level.
2. Economic opportunities: One-third of ration depots have been allocated to women, and the government aims to create 2 lakh 'Lakhpati Didis' through various training programs.
3. Political representation: Haryana has provided 50% representation for women in Panchayati Raj institutions.
Infrastructure and Development
Saini also touched upon the state's progress in infrastructure and development. He mentioned the construction of 20 new national highways, with work completed on nine of them. Over the past decade, ₹40,000 crore has been invested in building 1,350 km of national highways, connecting every district to improve transportation and commerce.
The Chief Minister's Independence Day address painted a picture of a state on the move, with a focus on job creation, women's empowerment, and overall development. As Haryana continues to grow, these initiatives are likely to play a crucial role in shaping its future and improving the lives of its citizens.
