Modi didn’t Get 400 Seats, So I'm Ending My Life: Transporter's Suicide

In a tragic turn of events, Sukhvinder, a transporter from Nandha village in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, took his own life in a shocking display of political devotion. The incident occurred when Sukhvinder visited his in-laws' house in Hisar and consumed poison. 

What makes this case particularly disturbing is the suicide note left behind by the deceased. In his final message, Sukhvinder stated that he was ending his life because Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party might not cross the 400-seat mark in the upcoming elections. This extreme act has raised concerns about the intensity of political fervor and its impact on mental health. 

Sukhvinder was involved in both transportation and farming. His brother, Jugvinder, provided a statement to the police, who have registered the case under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The note also reportedly contained mentions of financial transactions, listing people from whom money was to be collected or paid. This aspect adds another layer of complexity to the situation, hinting at possible financial stresses in Sukhvinder's life. 

The incident has sparked discussions about the dangers of extreme political devotion and the need for mental health awareness. It also highlights the intense emotions surrounding Indian politics, particularly in the lead-up to major elections.
