In a candid interview, former Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has made a series of revelations, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to his principles and the party's ideology. Vij, known for his outspoken nature, has once again stirred the political landscape with his bold statements.

Vij, who has never aspired to become the Chief Minister, stated that he has always followed the guidance of his conscience and never compromised on his beliefs. He recounted how during the formation of the BJP government in 2014 and 2019, many leaders were scrambling to secure ministerial positions in Delhi, while he remained steadfast in his commitment to his constituency in Ambala.

Addressing the recent news of a rift between him and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Vij clarified that he has a deep understanding of the state's top leadership, but he is unaware of the specific information they share with each other. He emphasised that it is natural to feel upset if something is going wrong, and he has always been vocal about his opinions, regardless of any perceived displeasure.

Vij's unwavering dedication to public service is evident in his account of working relentlessly, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he personally arranged for oxygen cylinders and continued to hold public hearings until late at night to address the grievances of the people. Dismissing the notion that he has become "quiet," Vij asserted that he is now focused on his duties as a legislator, party worker, and member of various committees. He believes that his commitment to the country's future is the driving force behind his tireless efforts.

Vij also expressed confidence in the BJP's prospects, predicting that the party will win over 400 Lok Sabha seats, including all 11 seats in Haryana and Chandigarh. He believes that the people have become aware of the "theatrics" used by the opposition parties to win votes and are now firmly supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a developed India.

The former minister's candid remarks and his unwavering stance on principles have once again positioned him as a prominent voice within the Haryana BJP. His criticism of the opposition's tactics and his unwavering support for the BJP's leadership have set the stage for a fiercely contested electoral battle in the state.
