Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda made it clear today that there was no possibility of the Loktanter Suraksha Party (LSP) or its leader Raj Kumar Saini joining the Congress in Haryana. Addressing queries, he stated, "As far as Haryana is concerned, there is no question of LSP or its chief Raj Kumar Saini joining the Congress."
Hooda emphasised that any speculation about non-Congress leaders contesting elections under the party's banner is baseless. He reinforced the Congress's ethos of inclusivity, stating, "The Congress is a party of all communities, and it never indulged in caste-based politics. There is no place for casteism and casteist mentality in the Congress."
Regarding the recent split between the BJP and JJP, Hooda highlighted an alleged internal collusion between the two parties. He pointed out that during the Legislative Assembly session, the JJP instructed its MLAs to remain absent during a trust motion, allegedly to benefit the BJP. "Everyone knows that this time too some parties will contest to cut the votes of the Congress," he added.
Hooda's remarks come amidst speculations surrounding political alliances and strategies in Haryana. His denial of any potential collaboration with the LSP reinforces the Congress's commitment to its principles of inclusivity and non-participation in caste-based politics.
The statement also sheds light on the ongoing political dynamics in Haryana, particularly the complicated relationships between major political players. Hooda's emphasis on the need to counter potential attempts to divide votes highlights the Congress's determination to secure its position in the state.
Hooda's assertions reject rumours of an alliance with the LSP and reinforce the Congress's stance on inclusivity and unity, positioning the party as a bastion against divisive politics in Haryana.
