Nimaya, a not-for-profit organization, has reached a significant milestone by empowering over 1000 women, referred to as Naari's, from across Haryana and Faridabad. Founded by social entrepreneur Navya Naveli Nanda and co-founder Samyak Chakrabarty, Nimaya aims to enable women facing barriers to build aspirational careers.

Nimaya's program focuses on preparing women for the workplace by providing them with automation-proof soft skills to thrive in the era of artificial intelligence. Through immersive training in soft skills, 1-1 mentoring, masterclasses with industry leaders, exposure visits, and technical skill enhancement, Nimaya bridges the gap between formal education and industry demands.

The organization's intervention has led to significant impact, with 20 cohorts and an impressive 85% placement success rate, accelerating the career trajectories of 1250 women. Nimaya's approach involves partnering with colleges and NGOs, building cohorts, providing comprehensive training, and offering placement support to ensure the successful transition of women into the workforce.

Areas of intervention include soft skills development, digital skills training, financial literacy, life skills enhancement, and placement training. Nimaya emphasizes effective communication, critical thinking, business mindset, teamwork, along with digital proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Founder Navya Naveli Nanda, a social entrepreneur and advocate, is committed to gender equality and empowerment through initiatives like Aara Health and Project Naveli. Co-founder Samyak Chakrabarty's mission is to empower individuals to outsmart artificial intelligence and create opportunities for youth in the virtual world of work.

Nimaya's impact extends beyond skill-building to fostering social and economic independence among women. By providing resources and opportunities, the organization contributes to building a gender-equal world through entrepreneurship and social activism.

In Faridabad, Nimaya's efforts have been instrumental in addressing the unique challenges faced by women in the region, offering them a pathway to overcome restrictive circumstances and pursue fulfilling careers. The organization's holistic approach towards empowerment serves as a beacon of hope for women striving for social and economic independence in Haryana and beyond.
