40 Workers Injured in Boiler Blast at Haryana Factory; Investigation Underway

Blast Occurs at Life-Long Factory in Dharuhera Industrial Area of Rewari District

A reported boiler explosion at the Life-Long factory in Dharuhera, Rewari district, Haryana, left around 40 workers injured, with three critically wounded. The incident, which occurred around 7 pm, caused panic among the workers, prompting swift emergency response.

Over 100 workers were present at the factory during the blast, leading to several sustaining burn injuries. While 23 were admitted to the Trauma Centre in Rewari, others were taken to nearby hospitals. Three critically injured individuals were referred to Rohtak PGIMS for further treatment.

Workers recounted hearing a loud blast followed by darkness engulfing the factory area. Amidst the chaos, efforts were made to evacuate and find safety. Authorities, including the Civil Surgeon and Rohtak PGIMS Director, mobilised resources to handle the situation. The local health facilities were put on alert to provide necessary care to the injured.

The blast took place at the Life-Long factory, known for manufacturing auto parts. Emergency services, including fire engines and ambulances, rushed to the scene to aid in rescue efforts.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the explosion, with police and administrative officials assessing the situation on-site. Measures are being taken to ensure the safety of workers and prevent similar incidents in the future.
