In a significant move, Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, kickstarter a multitude of development projects totaling 2,000 crores on Wednesday, originating from Hisar. Amidst this, the Chief Minister acknowledged the pressing issue of unemployment in the state. Lal highlighted the varying figures proposed by opposition leaders, ranging from 2% to 35%, underscoring the need for a comprehensive approach to address this challenge.

Addressing concerns raised by the opposition, the Chief Minister dismissed the exaggerated claims, asserting that the accurate unemployment rate in Haryana stands at 8.5%. He emphasised that labelling it as 34% is a political propaganda tactic used by the opposition to manipulate public perception.

Lal proudly mentioned the government's substantial efforts in job creation over the past nine years, providing employment to 30 lakh individuals. Recognizing the limitations of securing government jobs for everyone, the government actively supports self-employment through providing loans. Lal underscored the importance of skilling the youth, mentioning ongoing initiatives for skill development.

The Chief Minister highlighted the influx of foreign companies into Gurugram, Faridabad, Jhajjar, Panipat, and Hisar, attributing this growth to the well-established airports in these areas. Lal informed about the completion of an airport in Hisar, revealing the high demand for land around the airport from industrialists. Discussing sports infrastructure, Lal mentioned the mapping of 307 locations, indicating a lack of sports facilities within a 10 km radius. Directing the sports department to address this issue promptly, the Chief Minister expressed the government's commitment to promoting sports.

The Chief Minister affirmed that there is no discrimination in infrastructure development, stating that the entire state is progressing collectively. He cited impressive statistics on road development, with 33,000 km of roads improved and 7,000 km of new roads constructed in the last ten years. Lal informed about various projects, including the construction of new railway coaches and metro coaches in Sonipat. He also shared plans for establishing 26 new medical colleges across the state, addressing the shortage of doctors in Haryana.

In a virtual inauguration event initiated from Hisar, the Chief Minister inaugurated 10 projects. Out of the 75 projects worth 1,370 crores, the foundation stone was laid, while 71 projects amounting to 712 crores were declared ready for use.

In summary, Chief Minister Manohar Lal's ambitious development projects aim to propel Haryana's growth, creating employment opportunities and fostering infrastructural advancements across the state. The government's commitment to addressing unemployment and promoting diverse sectors reflects a holistic approach toward sustainable development.
