Nirmal Singh, a Congress leader and former minister from Haryana, delivered a scathing attack on the Haryana government during a visit to the Ambala City Congress office on Sunday. Workers warmly welcomed him, and during the event, Singh criticized the coalition government in Haryana, accusing the BJP-JJP alliance of consistently neglecting public welfare in pursuit of power. He argued that this approach has led to the state becoming the leader in issues such as unemployment, crime, corruption, and substance abuse.

Singh highlighted the migration of youth from Haryana to other states and countries due to unemployment. He expressed concern over a significant number of young people getting trapped in the jam of substance abuse and crime. Incidents of public murders and dacoities have become common across the entire state. Singh pointed out that even the central government's report indicates that Haryana has become the most unsafe state in the country, a stark contrast to its previous reputation as one of the safest.

He pledged his ongoing commitment to the people of Ambala City, emphasizing that despite political differences within his family after the delimitation of the Nagal Assembly, he has never been separated from them. Singh recounted his experience as an independent candidate in the 2019 elections in Ambala City, where he received overwhelming support from an awakened electorate, securing over 56,000 votes in just 10 days.

Comparing the achievements of the Hooda government and the current coalition government, Singh urged the public to evaluate both administrations critically. He highlighted the increase in debt, inflation, unemployment, and crime during the BJP and BJP-JJP rule, contrasting it with the closure of 5,000 government schools by the coalition government instead of establishing new educational institutions.

The gathering at the Congress office to welcome Nirmal Singh included former MLA Jasbir Malour, Ameesha Chawla, Ishu Goyal, former councillor Satish Saini, and other party workers. Singh concluded his address by calling upon the people to join hands in addressing the challenges of corruption, unemployment, and rising crime, pledging to work collaboratively to find solutions to these issues.
