Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala conducted a tour of Hisar on Saturday, revealing significant developments for the region. During a press conference at the Mini-Secretariat, he disclosed that the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) is gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections, aiming to contest on all ten seats in Haryana. The decision will be finalized in a joint meeting between the leaders of both BJP and JJP.

Chautala expressed skepticism about any political party other than the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) preparing for the elections, except for the INLD party. The alliance between BJP and JJP will decide the number of seats each party will contest. Congress, meanwhile, is conducting the 'Sankalp Yatra,' led by former state president Kumari Selja, Surjewala, and Kiran Choudhary.

Addressing the shifting political landscape, Chautala highlighted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had lost its sheen after the Punjab elections. He acknowledged the disciplined approach within the party and the departure of some leaders who later returned. Former MP Ashok Tanwar is joining the BJP, a move Chautala congratulated.

Regarding aviation developments, he announced that the Wings India 2024 Civil Aviation Ministry event in Hyderabad has brought three major gifts for Haryana, emphasizing that all technical facilities at Hisar Airport have received approval from the Airports Authority of India. The operations and management of the airport are set to begin, with a team taking charge from February, aiming for full-fledged flight operations by April.

Chautala shared plans for air connectivity under the Udan 5.2 scheme, connecting Hisar to Delhi and Chandigarh. Additionally, Udan 5.3 will facilitate connectivity to Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur. The airport will serve neighbouring Rajasthan with flights to Manali, Shimla, Dharamshala, and Dehradun, proposing services to Agra and Ayodhya based on survey results.

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the initiation of services from Ambala Civil Airport, serving destinations such as Gurugram's Dwarka Express National Highway project. The 30-acre Heli-Hub project is also expected to commence soon, facilitating religious travel to North Indian destinations. The third gift, as Chautala revealed, is the proposed launch of services from Ambala Civil Airport in July, further enhancing air connectivity in the region.
