In a dramatic turn of events within Haryana Congress, party leader Kumari Selja's decision to embark on a journey from Hisar has triggered intense factionalism, reaching its peak. Deepak Bawaria, the Pradesh Congress Committee in-charge, issued a directive in response, intensifying the ongoing power struggle within the party. This internal rift has not gone unnoticed, drawing strong criticism from Haryana's Home Minister Anil Vij.

Vij bluntly stated that a power struggle is underway between the SRK (Selja, Randeep Surjewala, and Kiran Choudhary) and Hooda factions. Both groups claim authenticity, yet Vij contends that they are both inauthentic, each adhering to its own program without recognizing the legitimacy of the other. He emphasized that the ongoing factionalism is evident to everyone.

The recent ED interrogation of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda seems to have added fuel to the fire. Anil Vij remarked that Hooda is gradually inching towards jail, attributing various questionable dealings to him, including creating fear among farmers and facilitating property deals with property dealers. Vij hinted at a potential scandal unfolding, with the truth gradually surfacing.

Commenting on the legal battle over the construction of Lord Ram's idol in Ayodhya, Anil Vij challenged Rahul Gandhi's recent Bharat Nyaya Yatra, asserting that Gandhi lacks awareness of the country's ground realities. Vij criticized the Congress for historical injustices, highlighting the Emergency, the breakdown of elected governments, and the contentious handling of 90,000 prisoners of war in 1971.

Vij defended the legitimacy of idol installation in incomplete temples, stating that the divine consecration can indeed occur in such circumstances. He argued that there are numerous temples in the country where consecration has taken place despite ongoing construction work. Vij urged people to embrace knowledge and recognize the significance of consecration in living deities.

Amidst this political turmoil, Vij took a direct dig at Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that if penance is required, Gandhi should embark on an expiatory journey for the betrayals committed by his ancestors. He emphasized that the Congress has been responsible for significant injustices in the country's history, undermining their claims of being a secular party. The internal strife in Haryana Congress has not only exposed deep-rooted divisions but has also become a spectacle of political power play, attracting widespread attention.
