Haryana has initiated a recruitment drive for jobs in Israel, signalling a promising avenue for employment. A 15-member team from Israel has arrived in India to facilitate the selection process. The campaign in Haryana, running from January 16 to 20, aims to fill positions across various sectors. Selected local youth will receive an attractive package from the Israeli government, including health insurance, food, accommodation, and a monthly salary of INR 1.37 lakhs, along with a bonus of INR 16,515.

This recruitment drive comes in the backdrop of Israel cancelling work permits for Palestinians, creating opportunities for Indian workers in various industries. Similar recruitment campaigns are set to take place in Uttar Pradesh from January 23 to 31.

Haryana Skill Development Corporation (HSDC) is actively facilitating employment opportunities for the state's youth abroad. The demand for Indian youth spans across seven countries, with 13,294 positions available. The eligibility criteria, salary details, and job descriptions have been made public to encourage interested candidates to register for overseas employment.

In collaboration with the Foreign Cooperation Department of Haryana and central agencies, HSDC is streamlining the process to send interested youth abroad. The licensing process is underway, ensuring transparency and legality in the recruitment process.

Job demands from countries like the UK and Israel include health care workers and construction labourers, offering competitive salaries and benefits. For instance, the UK is seeking 2,500 healthcare professionals with an annual salary ranging from £28,000 to £29,000. Meanwhile, Israel has a demand for 10,000 construction workers with a monthly salary of INR 1.37 lakhs.

Several other countries, including Finland, Japan, and Uzbekistan, are also seeking Indian workers across different sectors, reflecting a global demand for skilled individuals. This initiative aims to curb illegal immigration and protect the interests of Haryana's youth seeking employment opportunities abroad, providing them with legitimate and secure pathways.
