SUV Driver Hits Car Repeatedly

Bahadurgarh police have registered a case against a Balor village resident after a Hisar man alleged a Toyota Fortuner driver repeatedly rammed his Ford Mustang on the Bahadurgarh bypass with intent to kill in the early hours of November 30. The incident has sparked concern about road rage and highway safety.

The Attack

In his complaint filed at Sadar police station, Kuldeep stated he was returning to Hisar from a family wedding, driving with relatives including his nephew, when a white Toyota Fortuner aggressively overtook them near the Expressway flyover close to Balor village.According to the complainant, the Fortuner driver suddenly took a U-turn and rammed their car head-on with apparent intention to cause harm. After the initial collision, the driver allegedly struck the Mustang three to four more times, causing extensive damage. Kuldeep claimed the attack was deliberate and life-threatening, though no major injuries were reported.

Suspect Identified

Following the incident, the complainant traced the suspect vehicle and identified the driver as Prince, a resident of Balor village. The identification allowed police to register a case and begin investigation into what appears to be a severe road rage incident. Police reached the spot near Bahadurgarh bypass flyover and found the damaged car. Preliminary inspection confirmed significant impact damage consistent with the allegations, sources said. Both vehicles show visible collision damage in photographs from the scene.

Viral Video Connection

A video has gone viral on social media showing a shirtless man standing in the middle of the highway attempting to stop a container truck. The video is reportedly linked to this incident, though the exact connection and timing remain under investigation. The viral footage adds another dimension to the case, suggesting the confrontation may have escalated beyond the initial ramming incidents. Police are examining the video to establish its relevance to the complaint.

Investigation Underway

Inspector Naresh Kumar, SHO of Sadar Bahadurgarh police station, confirmed a case was registered against the Fortuner driver. "Further investigation is under way. The viral video is also being examined," he stated. The case highlights growing concerns about aggressive driving and road rage on Haryana's highways, particularly on busy routes like the Bahadurgarh bypass that connect multiple cities.
