In anticipation of Lord Shri Ram's idol consecration in Ayodhya, various events have been organized across Haryana. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, at his official residence in Chandigarh, participated in a devotional evening where bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal performed. The highlight was CM Khattar himself singing the bhajan 'Chandan Hai Is Desh Ki Mati, Tapo Bhumi Har Gram Hai,' earning praise from Governors and dignitaries present.
As part of the broader plan, CM Khattar and leaders of the Vishva Hindu Parishad have arranged to take around 2,000 devotees from Haryana to Ayodhya for the divine viewing of Lord Shriram on February 9th and 10th. The VHP's initiative aims to select 75 representatives from each district, ensuring diverse participation. Discussions among VHP, RSS leaders, and government officials are ongoing to finalize the selection criteria for these fortunate devotees.
In a strategic move, a special train and Volvo buses will transport pilgrims from Haryana to Ayodhya for the auspicious occasion. The state government, led by CM Khattar, is coordinating these arrangements, signifying a commitment to facilitate a hassle-free pilgrimage experience. Transportation Minister Mool Chand Sharma shared plans to organize Volvo buses from various districts in Haryana, ensuring citizens' smooth travel to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Acknowledging the cultural significance of the event, CM Khattar not only participated in the devotional evening but actively contributed by rendering a devotional song. His soulful rendition added a personal touch to the spiritual atmosphere. The event's uniqueness lies in the convergence of political leadership, religious fervour, and public participation, underscoring the unity in diversity and shared cultural heritage.
With the state government actively involved in organizing transportation and coordinating with religious leaders, the pilgrimage to Ayodhya reflects a harmonious blend of governance and spiritual devotion. CM Khattar's active participation in singing amplifies the cultural richness of the program, making it a memorable and inclusive event for the people of Haryana.
