The Haryana Film Festival 2025 will take place at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) on April 4-5. This two-day event will showcase short films focused on brotherhood and social harmony in Haryana, celebrating the state's cultural heritage while providing a platform for emerging filmmakers.

Activities include a short film exhibition featuring local stories, filmmaking workshops covering various production aspects, and dedicated sessions for film reviews and discussions.

Distinguished guests include Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, film actor and Haryana native Shri Rajkummar Rao, and Shri Gaurav Gautam, State Minister for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship (IC), Sports (IC), and Law and Legislative Affairs (Attached).

The main goal of the festival is to highlight Haryana's cultural heritage while supporting young regional filmmakers. Organizers hope to create a space where local talent can showcase their work and gain recognition. 

The event is likely to draw film enthusiasts, students, and culture lovers from across Haryana, giving them a chance to connect with the state's growing film community and explore social issues portrayed through cinema.
