The case involving the unexplained death of 19-year-old Bhiwani district schoolteacher Manisha has been formally transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Her family and the locals were extremely unhappy with the way the Haryana Police handled the investigation, which led to the transfer.

The local police's initial suicide theory was significantly altered when the federal agency filed a case of murder and wrongful confinement. According to sources, the CBI started its investigation on September 3 and formally submitted the FIR two days later on September 5.

A specialized CBI team has set up shop in Bhiwani, where they are methodically gathering evidence and speaking with important case participants. The investigators have visited the canal site near Singhani village where Manisha's body was discovered on August 13, conducting a thorough examination of the area.

The investigation has also reached Manisha's place of employment as a teacher at Kids' Care Bal Vidyalaya in Singhani. To learn more about the school operator's daily schedule and workplace, CBI officials interrogated her, obtained detailed information about every employee, and examined institutional documents.

All case-related documents that were previously in the possession of Bhiwani police have been turned over to the central agency, which has also held in-depth talks with local investigating officers to guarantee evidence continuity.

In a case that has garnered a lot of public attention and sparked doubts about the findings of the initial police investigation, this development marks a significant turning point.
