
A tragic accident occurred in Sonipat today when a woman traveling to take the CET (Common Entrance Test) exam lost her life in a road mishap. The accident happened on National Highway 334B near Drain Number 8 in Kharkhoda area.
The woman was traveling from Rewari with her family members to appear for the CET examination in Sonipat when their car met with an accident. According to initial reports, the woman's husband, a young girl, and other family members were also injured in the crash.
Police teams and local residents immediately rushed to the accident spot after receiving information. The injured were quickly taken to Kharkhoda Civil Hospital for emergency treatment. Seeing the serious condition of the child, woman, and her brother-in-law, doctors referred them to PGI Rohtak for advanced medical care.
Unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries at PGI Rohtak, despite medical efforts to save her life. The accident occurred when the family was near Drain Number 8 in Kharkhoda area. A truck traveling ahead of their car suddenly applied brakes, causing the driver Pradeep to lose control while trying to avoid collision.
Pradeep attempted to save the car from hitting the truck, but the vehicle lost balance and overturned, causing severe injuries to all passengers. The woman was determined to take her CET exam and was traveling with high hopes of success in her academic pursuits.
