Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has ordered tough action against criminals in the state. During a high-level meeting last night, he directed the police to launch a "High Octane drive" to maintain law and order across Haryana.

The Chief Minister expressed serious concern about the murder of an excise licensee in Kurukshetra. He immediately asked the Director General of Police (DGP) to take quick action against those responsible for the crime.

Saini also instructed police officials to provide immediate security to citizens who receive threat calls or extortion demands. He ordered the creation of a special phone number linked to the emergency helpline 112 for such reports.

CM Nayab Saini reviewed the state 's excise auction process during the meeting. The results have been impressive - Haryana has auctioned 934 excise zones so far, earning Rs 11,054 crore. This is more than double compared to last year's revenue of Rs 5,037 crore.

The Chief Minister gave strict instructions to the police force, asking them to maintain a strong visible presence that helps citizens and frightens criminals. He emphasized that lawbreakers and anti-social elements should fear the law.

Saini ordered regular monitoring of all important criminal cases at the highest levels. He directed that the State Task Force should get more staff and resources to solve pending cases quickly, ensuring no gangster remains free.

The meeting was attended by senior officials like Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, DGP Shatrujeet Kapur, and other department heads who will be responsible for implementing these new measures.
