Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has declared the results for the Group-D (Common Eligibility Test) examination on its official website. The examination took place on October 21 and 22, with a staggering 8.5 lakh candidates participating out of the 13.75 lakh who had registered from across the state. The commission is set to recruit for 13,557 positions, and an advertisement for these roles is expected in the coming week. Chief Minister Manohar Lal had pre-announced this recruitment drive during a youth event in Kurukshetra.

The recruitment process will be distinctive, with the commission allowing nearly 40,000 candidates to choose their preferred group and specific Group-D position in various boards, departments, and corporations. This selection will occur through an online portal created for this purpose. The Chief Minister emphasized that these jobs would be filled without the need for interviews. The government is launching a special initiative, "Mission 60,000," targeting candidates with an income of 1.80 lakhs or less.

HSSC Chairman Bhopal Singh Khadri shared details about the selection, comprising 13,104 positions in the state's common cadre and an additional 553 positions across various boards and corporations. The distribution includes 5,875 positions for the general category, 2,730 for Scheduled Castes, 2,183 for BC-A, 1,504 for BC-B, and 1,365 for economically weaker sections. The commission plans to release an advertisement in the coming days to gather the preferences of the candidates who appeared in the CET results.

The recruitment process is anticipated to be transparent, efficient, and cater to candidates from diverse backgrounds. The official notification from HSSC will provide further details on the application process, including when the portal will be open for candidates to express their preferences for the available positions. The upcoming recruitment drive is poised to be a significant opportunity for job seekers across Haryana, promising employment based on merit and preferences expressed by the candidates themselves.
