People typically face both electricity and water problems during the summer months. In this context, residents of Mohali will experience water shortages over the next two days. This decision has been taken by the Water Supply Department. It is being reported that people will face water scarcity on May 5 and 6 due to leakage in the water pipeline.

Tomorrow, there will be no water supply during the afternoon, while in the evening, water will be supplied at low pressure. The department states that it will take an entire day to fix the leakage problem. They have advised people to store water in advance so that it can be used when needed.

According to the information, due to a pipeline leakage near Phase-6 in Mohali, water supply will be cut off to Phases 1 through 7, Madanpura village, and Industrial Growth Phases 1 through 5. As a result, there will be no water supply on Monday, May 5, while in the evening, water will be supplied at low pressure based on availability. Similarly, the next day, May 6, people will face water problems in the morning. The Water Supply Department has appealed to the public for cooperation.

The announcement comes as summer temperatures rise across the region, making water scarcity particularly challenging for residents. Authorities recommend that households prepare for the disruption by storing adequate water for essential needs during the affected period.
