The Haryana government issued transfer orders for three senior administrative officers on Monday, according to an official notification from the state secretariat in Chandigarh. The reshuffle includes both IAS and HCS officers who have been given new assignments across different departments.
Hitesh Kumar Meena, a 2019-batch IAS officer who was serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer in Gurugram, has been appointed as Additional Chief Executive Officer at the Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran. This position is considered equivalent to the senior pay scale of IAS.
Renu Sogan, also from the 2019 IAS batch and previously the Commissioner of Manesar Municipal Corporation, has been transferred to the Grievance Redressal Department as Additional Secretary in the Haryana Government.
Virendra Chaudhary, a 2013-batch HCS officer who was Managing Director of Cooperative Sugar Mills in Shahabad and CEO of both Zila Parishad and DRDA in Kurukshetra, has been moved to the Fisheries Department as Joint Secretary.
The transfers are part of the government's efforts to improve administrative efficiency and fill vacant positions across departments. All three officers are expected to assume their new roles this week after completing necessary handover procedures.
