Another brave son of Haryana has made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. Naveen Jakhar, a 20-year-old Agniveer from Salhawas village in Jhajjar district, was martyred during an anti-terrorist operation in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.

The young soldier had joined the Indian Army under the Agniveer scheme just 18 months ago and had returned to duty only six weeks ago after leave. Naveen 's elder brother Lokesh is also serving as an Agniveer in the Indian Navy.

A wave of sadness has spread in the Salhawas village after the news of Naveen's sacrifice in Kashmir. Naveen's parents and family are devastated by the loss of their loving son. Naveen 's parents work as farmers in the village.

According to reports, Naveen was actively participating in an operation against terrorists in the Baramulla region when he lost his life. His mortal remains are expected to reach his native village around 4 PM today, where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.

The young soldier's sacrifice adds to the growing list of brave men from Haryana who have laid down their lives defending the nation's borders in recent months, highlighting both the patriotism of the state's youth and the ongoing security challenges in the Kashmir region.
