Girl Emerging from Luggage in OP Jindal Global University

OP Jindal Global University has suspended all students involved in an incident where a girl was discovered inside a suitcase, a day after video of the bizarre occurrence went viral on social media. The university administration has also issued show-cause notices to the students, requiring them to appear before the disciplinary committee by the end of April.

According to university officials, the incident was a "prank" that took place within the girls' hostel. A group of female students reportedly placed their friend in a large suitcase and transported her outside to the grounds and upstairs.

The situation came to light when the students moved the suitcase to a public area inside the girls' hostel common area that was under CCTV surveillance. Security guards noticed suspicious activity surrounding the luggage. Reports suggest the wheel of the suitcase broke during transport, causing the girl inside to shout, which alerted security personnel.

In the viral video, two female security staff members can be seen opening the suitcase, from which a girl emerges. University security and officials are visible standing around the scene.

"The incident involved a group of students playing a prank within the girls' hostel, which unfortunately escalated to a public area where the security intervened. All students involved have been issued show-cause notices and will face the disciplinary committee," said Anjoo Mohun, Director of Public Relations at Jindal Global University.

Mohun emphasized that "the university takes student security very seriously" and has "taken effective and immediate action in the matter."

This incident comes just a day after the original video spread widely across social media platforms, causing considerable discussion about campus safety protocols and student behavior at the prestigious university.
