In a solemn gathering in Faridabad, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar expressed condolences following the tragic demise of Mahesh Panchal, brother of the accused in the recent Nuh violence, Bittu Bajrangi. The sombre occasion saw the Chief Minister, accompanied by Faridabad legislator Narendra Gupta, Cabinet Minister Mulchand, and other senior leaders, paying their respects to Mahesh Panchal.

Mahesh Panchal's demise occurred under distressing circumstances. According to a statement given by the deceased earlier, on the night of December 13-14, some youths in Parvati Colony, Baba Mandi, inquired about his association with Bittu Bajrangi. Upon confirming the relationship, they allegedly poured a flammable substance on him, leading to a severe burn incident.

After this harrowing incident, Mahesh Panchal managed to reach his residence. Subsequently, Bittu Bajrangi took him first to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital and later referred him to Delhi for specialised medical care. Despite efforts, Mahesh Panchal succumbed to his injuries on January 8, around 7:30 PM, at the All India Medical Institute in Delhi.

The Chief Minister, following the condolence ceremony, proceeded to Sector 12 to convene a meeting of the Grievance Committee. The tragic episode has cast a shadow over the ongoing investigations and conversations around communal tensions in Nuh.

The untimely demise of Mahesh Panchal adds a poignant layer to the complexities surrounding the recent violence in Nuh. The incident underscores the delicate nature of the situation and the challenges faced by those connected to the accused in navigating the aftermath. As investigations continue, the government faces the critical task of maintaining law and order and fostering a sense of security in the affected regions.
