The No. 1 Haryana Air NCC Squadron in Hisar district conducted an 'A' Certificate examination under the guidance of the Rohtak Group Directorate, with 475 cadets from 21 schools participating. The examination was held on March 23 at two venues: Thakur Das Bhargava Senior Secondary School in Hisar and Vaish Model Senior School in Bhiwani.

Developing Patriotism and Courage

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) plays a crucial role in fostering discipline, patriotism, and courage among young people. It also promotes leadership qualities and teamwork among cadets. Holders of NCC 'A', 'B', and 'C' certificates receive various benefits, with 'C' certificate holders being given special preference in government job opportunities.

Special Concessions During Recruitment

NCC cadets receive special concessions during recruitment processes for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Agniveer program, paramilitary forces, and police services. During police department inspectors and sub-inspectors recruitment examinations, bonus marks are awarded to NCC certificate holders.

Specifically, 'C' certificate holders receive a 5% bonus, 'B' certificate holders get 3%, and 'A' certificate holders are awarded 2% bonus marks. This gives them a significant advantage in the competitive recruitment process.

Educational Benefits

NCC certificate holders also receive special consideration during admission to colleges and universities. Additionally, scholarship opportunities are provided to support their higher education pursuits.

These benefits make NCC certification a valuable credential for students looking to enhance their career prospects, particularly in government and defense-related fields.
