Haryana Releases ₹1 Crore Each to 25 MLAs for Development Works

Each legislator to receive total of ₹5 crore in three installments under Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojana for constituency development

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today announced the release of ₹1 crore each to 25 MLAs for development works in their respective constituencies under the Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojana. The announcement came during the ninth day of the ongoing budget session in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

The Chief Minister urged the remaining MLAs to promptly submit their lists of development works so that funds could be released to them as well. 

"Following the principles of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas' as outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have released these funds to facilitate development across all constituencies," Saini said.

More Funds in Budget 2025-26

The Chief Minister also highlighted that the state budget for 2025-26 includes an allocation of ₹5 crore for each MLA to undertake development works in their constituencies. This amount will be disbursed in three installments throughout the fiscal year.

During the question hour, MLAs raised various issues pertaining to their constituencies, which were addressed by the government.
