Savitri Jindal, the richest woman in India, is launching a new initiative by opening a Common Service Center (CSC) at her home. The center will be inaugurated today, coinciding with her birthday.
The primary purpose of establishing this center is to bring government schemes and services closer to the common people. Citizens visiting the center will receive assistance in filling out various government forms and accessing services every Saturday.
"Through this center, we aim to eliminate the difficulties citizens face when trying to benefit from government services. We want to ensure people don't face any problems and become empowered," said Jindal about her initiative.
According to sources, Jindal has started the CSC center to stay connected with people. The center will ensure regular footfall at Jindal House, allowing her to remain in touch with the community.
Common Service Centers are an important component of the Government of India's Digital India initiative, providing citizens access to various government and non-government services through digital means.
