Job seekers in the healthcare sector have reason to be hopeful as Haryana prepares to fill 501 vacant nursing officer positions. The state has sent a recruitment request to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) to begin the hiring process.

Health Minister Aarti Rao shared this information while responding to questions in the State Assembly on Tuesday. She also mentioned that vacant doctor positions would be filled soon, while Group D employee vacancies would be handled through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam.

Current Healthcare Staffing Status

According to Rao, the health department has 3,969 sanctioned posts for Medical Officers, of which 3,192 are currently filled. For Senior Medical Officers, 425 positions are occupied out of 644 sanctioned posts.

Addressing specific concerns about Yamunanagar Civil Hospital, the minister stated that 43 of the 67 sanctioned doctor positions are currently filled.

Minister Arti Rao stated that CM Nayab Singh Saini has already issued appointment letters to 561 newly recruited Medical Officers on March 8. This step demonstrates government's commitment to strengthen healthcare services in Haryana.

Steps are being taken to fill the remaining vacant positions across various healthcare facilities in Haryana, Rao assured the Assembly.
