Jind district is set to receive a significant boost in healthcare infrastructure as a new trauma center has been approved for the region. The announcement comes after persistent efforts by Haryana Assembly Deputy Speaker and BJP MLA from Jind, Dr. Krishna Middha, who has been advocating for this critical facility to serve the region's growing medical needs.
The trauma center will be particularly beneficial for victims of road accidents on the various highways that surround Jind district. Currently, accident victims must be transported to the civil hospital, which lacks specialized trauma care facilities. This will ensure that injured victims can receive timely treatment.
BJP Government Prioritizes Development in Jind
Dr. Middha expressed his gratitude towards the state government for approving the trauma center project. "The BJP government has taken care of every section of society. Whatever development projects for Jind I have brought to the government's attention have been fulfilled," he stated during a recent press conference.
He further emphasized that the welfare policies of the BJP have made every section of society happy, which is why Haryana currently has a "triple engine" government. According to Dr. Middha, the people of Haryana have shown their trust in the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nayab Saini, and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Trauma Center Addresses Crucial Need
The demand for a trauma center in Jind has been growing steadily, particularly due to the district's location at the junction of multiple highways and national highways. Following road accidents, victims are typically brought to the civil hospital, but the lack of specialized trauma care facilities has been a significant concern.
Dr. Middha took note of this pressing requirement and presented the proposal to Chief Minister Nayab Saini, who promptly approved the project. Construction of the trauma center is expected to begin soon, bringing much-needed relief to the region's residents.
Comprehensive Development Plan for Jind
In addition to the trauma center, Dr. Middha has brought 11 important development projects to the Chief Minister's attention. These include:
- An Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) for Jind
- An auditorium with a seating capacity of 2,500 people for community events
- Development of the Pandu Pindara pilgrimage site
- Land acquisition for a paramedical college
- Completion of the ring road in Jind
- A regional center for Luvas University
- Finding a suitable location for a Nandishala (cow shelter)
- Expediting the construction of a medical college in Habatpur
- Building smart streets in urban areas of the city
- Establishing an Industrial Model Township (IMT)
These projects aim to enhance the educational, healthcare, and infrastructure facilities in Jind district.
