Grand "Shri Ram Yatra" Planned in Ambala Cantt Ahead of Ayodhya Temple's Inauguration

Haryana's Minister of Home and Health, Anil Vij, announced a majestic event, the "Shri Ram Yatra," scheduled for January 14 in Ambala Cantt, with the purpose of installation and inauguration of Lord Ram's newly constructed temple in Ayodhya. Vij chaired a workers' meeting on Thursday at Ambala Cantt PWD Rest House to discuss the preparations for this grand event.

Minister Vij outlined that the Shri Ram Yatra would commence at 11 a.m. from Subhash Park, proceeding on foot through Cantt's bustling Sadar Bazar and other areas, culminating back at Subhash Park.

Special Train from Ambala Cantt to Ayodhya

During the Yatra, participants will sing hymns praising Lord Ram as they walk. Furthermore, Anil Vij disclosed plans for a special AC train, named "Ayodhya Yatra," departing from Ambala Cantt to Ayodhya on January 22, following the inauguration and consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This special train aims to facilitate the pilgrimage of thousands of devotees eager to witness the temple's sanctification. Discussions with the railway authorities are underway to finalize the date for the operation of this special train.

The train is expected to offer amenities like pantry services and other facilities for the comfort of the pilgrims. Minister Vij expressed his anticipation that a significant number of devotees from Ambala Cantt would embark on this spiritual journey, underscoring the importance of faith and reverence for Lord Ram.
