Haryana CET 2025 Likely to be Held in April After Board Exams

CM Nayab Saini's government had already committed in the High Court to conduct the CET exam in December 2024 but it was postponed. Recently a meeting headed by Sadhuram Jakhar member of HSSC has discussed the timeline and examination protocols with concerned officials.

Key Decisions

The January 28 meeting established several important guidelines:

• Exam to be conducted after board examinations in April 2025
• Only 24 candidates will be allowed per classroom
• Mandatory ID cards for duty staff
• No entry for outsiders
• Exam centers to be away from crowded areas 

Preparation Measures

The Deputy Commissioner has instructed officials to prepare a list of examination centers in Hisar district plus submit deatils of seating capacity at each center. The officials have been instructed to ensure proper arrangements at the exam centers according to the newly issued guidelines. The main focus should be on maintaing examination security. 

Impact on Candidates

The CET exam is significant for lakhs of youth seeking employments in Group C and Group D posts in Haryana government departments. The HSSC is yet to announce the official dates for the CET exam leaving students awaiting for the final notification.
