Chief Minister's flying squad has caught a five-member Bangladeshi family in New Delhi on Friday. The family was caught traveling in an autorickshaw near Bardkali Chowk Nagina.

Details of Family Members

The family consists of 34-year-old Imtiaz, son of Hassan, his 30-year-old wife Duleli, and three minor children, Dulal, Bilal, and Rana. The family was working at brick kilns before the recent police crackdown on illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Rewari on January 22, 2025. After the police crackdown, they were forced to move and were roaming in search of work.

The adults will be presented in court, while the three minor children will be sent to a child reform home in Faridabad. The operation was carried out based on intelligence inputs, led by Inspector Rajesh Kumar, in charge of the CM flying squad, Rewari, alongside Inspector Satinder Kumar from the intelligence unit.

Planning to Travel to West Bengal

The police stated that the family was planning to travel to Delhi and then take a train to West Bengal. They were caught without valid documentation, such as visas or passports, which makes them illegal migrants to India.
