Haryana government's schemes for women are proving to be a blessing. At the Saras Mela in Faridabad, many women have set up stalls, supporting not just themselves but also their families. One such woman is Meenu Sharma from Panchkula, who makes soap and has employed several other women.

Starting from her kitchen in Panchkula in 2019, Meenu Sharma from Panchkula took a training course in soap making that would change her life. Her journey began with testing her products at home and sharing them with neighbors, whose positive response encouraged her to expand her venture.

Building a Community of Entrepreneurs

What started as a solo venture has now grown into a small business network, employing 10-12 women from her community. Through the Aajivika Mission, a government initiative supporting women entrepreneurs, Sharma has achieved the status of a 'Lakhpati Didi' (millionaire sister), demonstrating the success of her enterprise.

Overcoming Challenges

Despite facing initial difficulties and social criticism, Sharma persevered and continued to work hard with the support of family members. Today, she is a successful entrepreneur, inspiring others. Her presence at the Saras Mela in Faridabad showcases not just her products but also the success story of government schemes supporting women entrepreneurs in Haryana.
