Haryana government is set to implement the Lado Laxmi scheme, which is a pioneering welfare initiative aimed at encouraging girl child birth and ensuring their financial security to remove burden from the shoulders of the poor families. Under the Lado Lakshmi scheme, eligible families will receive ₹2,100 per month for their daughters. Eligibility

The scheme only covers BPL (Below Poverty Line) cardholders and families from economically weaker sections. The scheme targets girls born in Haryana to families with annual income below ₹2 lakh. Haryana government's targeted approach ensures the financial benefits reach those who are most in need.

Application Process

To apply for the scheme, applicants can submit their documents either online or offline. For submitting documents online, applicants have to visit the official Haryana government website www.haryana.gov.in, and for offline application process, they need to visit their nearest Anganwadi centre, government hospital, or block office.

Documents Required

Following is the detail of the documents required: girl's birth certificate, parents' Aadhaar card, family identification card (Parivar Pehchan Patra), and BPL card or income certificate.
