Minister Anil Vij Suspends Police Officer for Failing to File FIR

In other case Minister Anil Vij suspended a Social Justice Department investigator for negligence in pension cases. The Case That Led to Suspension

The complainant approached minister Vij regarding police inaction in property dispute, SHO Satish Kumar claimed the matter was civil in nature. Acting on the matter minister rejected explanation about routing case through higher authorities and ordered direct intervention with DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor for suspension orders. After this incident Anil Vij emphasized on the matter of mandatory FIR registration before investigation.
