Through the tele consultation service, patients can receive expert medical advice without having to travel long distances.
The key features of the online consultation services includes-
- Operational timing will be from 9 AM to 4 PM and the doctors will be available throughout the week.
- Participating medical department include gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, medicine surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, psychiatric, ENT and dermatology.

Technical support and Training
the Telecom Consultation project involves special training from the state 's National Health Mission (NHM), Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Mohali and PGIMS Institute Faculty Members. C-DAC is going to provide specialized training to doctors to ensure smooth online treatment processes as highlighted by Dr Kundam Mittal, Medical Superintendent.
The beneficiaries can access specialist through the nearby Community Health Centres (CHCs), the Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and other designated health facilities near their homes.
