The Haryana government has announced a substantial support package for wheat farmers, offering Rs 3,600 per acre for wheat cultivation using advanced technology. The Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare has initiated this program under the Food and Nutrition Security Wheat Scheme, targeting eight key districts in the state.

Key Benefits and Eligibility:
- Individual farmers can claim benefits for up to 2.5 acres
- Special 20% quota for scheduled castes, women farmers, and small/marginal farmers
- Online registration mandatory for purchasing agricultural materials
- Materials must be bought from government-approved vendors or cooperatives
Application Process:
- Farmers must register online through the Agriculture Department's website by December 25
- Purchase receipts should be submitted to the local Agricultural Development Officer
- After verification, the subsidy amount will be transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts
