The Haryana Story reports that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has completed the allocation of portfolios to his newly appointed cabinet ministers. The distribution, which took place late Sunday night, reveals a strategic division of responsibilities among the state's top leadership.

CM Saini has retained 12 key departments under his direct control, including Home, Finance, Planning, Excise, and Town & Country Planning. This move suggests the Chief Minister's intent to maintain a firm grip on the state's core administrative and financial matters.

In a notable shift, former Home Minister Anil Vij has been assigned new responsibilities. He will now oversee the Energy, Transport, and Labor departments, marking a significant change in his portfolio.

The cabinet sees a diverse distribution of roles. Krishana Lal Panwar will handle Panchayat and Mining, while Rao Narbir Singh takes charge of Industries, Forest, Environment, and Foreign Cooperation. Education finds its steward in Mahipal Dhanda, who will manage both School and Higher Education.

Two women ministers have been given significant roles in the new cabinet. Shruti Choudhry will lead the Women and Child Development department along with Irrigation. Aarti Rao, daughter of Rao Inderjit Singh, has been entrusted with the crucial Health department and Medical Education.

Other ministers have been allocated portfolios ranging from Agriculture and Animal Husbandry to Public Health Engineering and Social Justice. This diverse distribution aims to ensure comprehensive governance across various sectors of the state.

The Haryana Story notes that this portfolio allocation reflects CM Saini's vision for the state's governance. It balances the retention of key departments under the Chief Minister's direct supervision with the distribution of important responsibilities among experienced and new ministers alike.

As Haryana moves forward under this new administrative structure, all eyes will be on how effectively these ministers can deliver on their respective mandates and contribute to the state's overall development.
