In a disturbing incident from Jind district, Haryana, a 10-year-old girl's emotional outburst led to the discovery of her sexual assault by a school principal. The revelation came when the child, frustrated by her parents' argument, cried out that neither the principal at school nor her parents at home let her rest in peace.
The girl's mother reported to the police that her daughter, a fourth-grade student at a private school, returned home on Friday complaining of stomach and leg pain. Initially, the child didn't share much information. However, when an argument broke out between her parents, the girl started shouting, expressing her distress about both the school principal and her parents not letting her be at ease. Startled by this outburst, the parents calmed the child and gently questioned her. The girl then disclosed the traumatic incident that had occurred at school that day.
According to the child's account, the school principal approached her while she was in a classroom. He asked her to close a window in another room. When she went to do so, the principal came close to her and offered to show her the school's new hall. Instead of taking her to the hall, he led her to a bathroom where he sexually assaulted her.
The mother immediately filed a police complaint upon learning of this horrific incident. The police have begun an investigation against the accused principal.
This shocking case highlights the vulnerability of young children and the need for increased vigilance and safety measures in educational institutions. It also underscores the importance of creating an environment where children feel safe to speak up about any form of abuse or misconduct they may experience.
